For more than 20 years, design has been my language. It's how I think, how I solve problems, and how I connect with people. What started as a passion for beautiful things became a career, a business, and eventually, a calling.
My journey began with freelance graphic design work — creating custom invitations, event stationery, and branded materials for clients. I fell in love with the details — the fonts, the color palettes, the way a well-designed piece can make someone feel special before they even read the words.
As the world went digital, so did I. I pivoted to SimplyLyns and discovered a whole new way to serve creatives — through premium Canva templates, AI prompt packs, social media designs, and original artwork. I became a true Canva expert, and I started teaching what I knew through YouTube tutorials that reached tens of thousands of viewers.
I'm also a single mom. That part of my story matters because it shapes everything. It taught me resourcefulness, resilience, and the importance of building something that's truly mine. My art isn't just a business — it's my legacy and my example for my kids.
